PharmaLink is one of MY AFRIQUE 2S2I's major technology products. Its purpose is to create a connected digital ecosystem around access to medicines and healthcare journeys.
A multi-sided platform
The platform brings together patients, pharmacies and healthcare professionals. It covers medicine and pharmacy search, availability, prescriptions, pre-orders, appointments, notifications and interactions between ecosystem participants.
PharmaLink already presents functional workflows for connected pharmacy operations while remaining an independent product site.
Interoperability as a design principle
The project prioritizes APIs and integration so pharmacies can preserve their existing software wherever possible. This gradual approach reduces disruption and creates a path toward broader ecosystem connectivity.
A concrete African challenge
PharmaLink aims to help patients identify pharmacies likely to have the medicines they need, including from a prescription, while keeping healthcare professionals at the center of the journey.
